GNOME 3 Photo Competition

A huge number of amazing parties were organised all across the world to celebrate the launch of GNOME 3.0. We really wanted to have a lasting record of those events so we could share and remember all the great things that happened for the release, so we organised a photo competition. People attending the release parties were asked to take pictures and send them in.

We had some great entries and after a bit of deliberation me and the other judges decided which we thought were the best. These were announced last week. In case you missed it, here are the winning pictures.

Runners up

By Tualatrix Chou (HZ Lug, China)

By Sílvia Mira (Barcelona, Spain)

By Henry Addo (Nairobi, Kenya)

By Ana Rey (Granada, Spain)

I’m really happy with these pictures, particularly the winner, which I really love. There were plenty of other great entries too; I’m hoping to put them on really soon. The marketing crew are currently organising the prizes for the winners. They should be going in the post really soon.
